Chuck Barkley is presently a Mortgage Planner for Mortgage Financial Services in Lafayette, LA.  He is also a Faculty Member of The Home Asset Advisor Academy which is an educational resource provided to other Mortgage Professionals nationwide who wish to learn how to take more of a consultative role with their clients. 

Chuck transformed his traditional practice into a Mortgage Planning firm nearly 4 years ago and takes a consultative approach to helping his clients design the ultimate mortgage that will allow them to maximize cash flow, reach equity building goals, and achieve other financial goals. 

His most recent accomplishments include receiving the Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist^® designation, and also being featured recently in the full page national ad of American Brokers Conduit centered on his expertise in Mortgage Planning.  Chuck was the first person in the entire State of Louisiana to obtain the CMPS^® designation.  He keeps current with financial markets, interest rates, and new trends in the Mortgage Industry.  He also enjoys utilizing the latest technology for both his personal benefit as well as for the benefit of his clients and referral partners.

Chuck has closed well over 1,000 residential Mortgage loans for families in his local market since entering the Mortgage Industry.  Prior to starting his practice in 1998, he enjoyed success both as a Wholesale Account Executive and Retail Loan Officer for two different national Mortgage firms. 

Chuck enjoys singing, and is involved in the music program at First Baptist Church of Lafayette which he attends regularly.  Chuck, his wife of 11 years Stacey, his two children Brittany and Tanner, and one cat reside in Lafayette, LA.
